About Business Services

The Business Services Department supports the fiscal operations of Monterey Peninsula Unified School District and is committed to ensuring responsible stewardship of public resources. The department oversees budgeting, accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, Associated Student Body (ASB) financial activities, developer fees, public records requests, and Board of Education support services.

Working closely with schools, departments, employees, families, and community partners, Business Services helps ensure the district's financial operations are transparent, compliant, efficient, and aligned with MPUSD's mission of supporting student success. Through sound fiscal management and exceptional customer service, the department provides the foundation that allows teaching and learning to thrive across the district.
